Calypso Bean: (Phaseolus vulgaris)

Description

Fat delicious pods that are mottled black and white. Calypso beans originate in the Caribbean and are also called orca/ ying-yang/ vaquero beans. These are bush bean plants and will require minimal support. It is a creamy bean that is perfect for soups and baked beans. Harvest fresh when pods are fat and well-formed, or leave to dry for a  pantry bean. Our beans come with inoculant included for healthier and more productive plants. Can be planted late monsoon and spring.
