Chocolate Flower: (Berlandiera lyrata)

Description

The bright yellow petals of chocolate flowers frame tiny, deep maroon florets and a green center. They elicit a lovely chocolatey fragrance which is strongest early morning before the heat of the day. The petals close with full sun and high temperatures. This is a drought-tolerant perennial desert wildflower that provides almost year-round blooms.
